JAMES HEAPHY
James Heaphy has been repairing countertops since 2003. James has extensive knowledge and experience in the repair and restoration of Solid Surface, Marble, Granite, Soapstone, Quartz, Richlite, Sintered Ceramic and Butcher Block countertops. He has developed techniques for repairing failures that have traditionally resulted in clients replacing their countertops, saving money and time, and preventing those materials from ending up in the landfill. He brings a passion and pride to his work that is reflected in his craftsmanship and attention to detail.
JIM HEAPHY
Jim Heaphy began working with DuPont CORIAN products in 1984. He was the general manager of Western Plastics in San Francisco from 1984 to 1993. He served as co-chair of the Solid Surface Products Section of DLPA, a national trade association, from 1989 to 1991. Since 1990, he has written a quarterly column on countertop fabrication techniques for Kitchen & Bath Design News magazine, the leading trade publication in the industry. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco. He has trained hundreds of fabricators and installers about the proper procedures for working with solid surface materials. He has conducted solid surface seminars in Chicago, Hong Kong, Honolulu, Indianapolis, Long Beach, Louisville, New Orleans, Oakland, Orlando, Philadelphia, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, and Winston - Salem. He founded TopRepair (formerly known as Heaphy Associates) in 1993. His company has repaired and refurbished thousands of solid surface countertops throughout California and Nevada. TopRepair is a member of the International Solid Surface Fabricators Association (ISSFA).
DEB HEAPHY
Debra Heaphy has worked for TopRepair since 2001. She does both administrative and bookkeeping for TopRepair. She is a graduate of California State University-Fresno.
In business since 1993, TopRepair specializes in repairing, refinishing and refurbishing solid surface countertops throughout California and Nevada. We work with DuPont CORIAN and all other major brands. We also repair granite, quartz, concrete, and butcher block countertops. We were formerly known as Heaphy Associates - we changed our name to TopRepair in 2006 to better reflect the type of work we do.
